There are parts of summer that I love, but I’d say I enjoy fall more living in California. I’m not the pumpkin spice/plaid kind of fall girl but I love cooler weather and darker evenings. I love curling up in a cozy blanket and watching movies like “You’ve Got Mail” that just don’t feel right to watch in the summer. I love the nighttime so the longer it’s night the happier I am. Love this article btw. I love that you’ve kept this up. You are such a great writer.

Thank you so much Megan!! And yes there’s definitely something to the cozied up movie watching that I love too. There are different kinds of "fall girls" to be sure. Xo

Just finished Heartstopper last night and my long lost teenage heart has been a flutter. It was such a cozy, precious, and gorgeous welcome to a new season! <3

Ah I'm four episodes in! It is truly so cozy, I find myself getting all giggly every time Nick & Charlie are in a scene together, I just love them so much. Can't wait to finish (and rewatch, and rewatch).

YES. I love that young people and people in general get to experience a show like it. 💓💓

Oh my gosh, that library is absolutely stunning. What a view! I am a spring girlie, but I will take fall as second runner up. Anything but sunshine! I need the permission of fall to bundle up in a blanket on my couch reading a cozy book and burning a pumpkin candle.

Right?? I’m dying to visit. And spring girlie is totally respectable, I love all the flowers on my walks during that time of year!

Team Fall all the way 🍁 Denver doesn’t have the greatest fall, it’s still in the 90s this week—unacceptable. But I love the crisp air, the apple cider donuts, the leaves. I have, however, found myself more able to embrace summer too. It’s still way too hot for me, but I tried not to fully hibernate this summer. I’d still get as much time outside as I could in the AM and later evenings, still went on my walk after lunch even if it was a gazillion degrees. Helped me resent it less but refusing to be so limited.

I loved your list of what you’re looking forward to even if it’s not your fave. There is always something there. ❤️

Lots of respect for Team Fall! Making a list really did help my impending dread. And proud of you for making it out of the house more this summer 👏 I’m the kind of weirdo that doesn’t mind sweating in public so it doesn’t bother me to be outside when it’s so hot, I kind of love it.

Because of my skin condition I don’t really sweat so I just get hot, overheat and turn a kind of reddish purple until I have a panic attack 😂😂 as you can see, it’s just not in the cars for me.
